Your Finances. Your Goals.

The Brennan School of Business Financial Wellness Program offers financial workshops and guidance, internships, and volunteering opportunities in our community. The workshops, designed by Ramiro J. Atrista铆n-Carri贸n with support from our Title V grants, cover basic financial knowledge, individual financial behavior, strategies, and resources in the areas of money management, student loans, credit, savings, investing and more.

Every semester since the Fall of 2020, more than 400 undergraduate and graduate students are enrolled in self-paced bilingual workshops on Canvas. Undergraduate students complete internships while many students also attend bilingual financial wellness workshops.

Financial Wellness Peer Coaches

The Financial Wellness Program offers an internship that features peer coaching as one of its main components. Our peer coaches have demonstrated strong abilities in interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and personal finance.

The peer coaches are trained rigorously before they are eligible to work with Dominican students in personal finance matters. They guide students on the Financial Wellness resources available, help them create a budget, show strategies for saving money, paying off student loans, investing tips, and so much more!
